Juliana has been leading Gaia Studio for 11 years.
She brought up in Sao
Paulo and also in a farm located in Amazonia where she learned how to
appreciate and respect the forest exuberance since her early years.
She has studied in a
German school and always liked fine arts and photography. In 1994, she lived
for a year in Europe where she had a special interest in visiting parks in
England, France and Germany.
She decided to attend Engineering Agronomic college (1996-2000) at Escola Superior de Agricultura Luis de
Queiroz where she directed her college subjects to landscaping.
Still in the college,
she has known Peter Walker work and feeling enchanted, she performed a
traineeship at his office in California in 2000.
When
she returned to Brazil , she has worked for six years at Gilberto Elkis'
landscape office, acquiring experience to set up Studio Gaia in 2006.
